This webinar will build on the pharmacologic information provided in Part 1 and will expand it with particular attention to anaesthetic induction and maintenance techniques. Physiological considerations unique to the anaesthetised brachycephalic will also be reviewed. The goal of this webinar is to provide advice to the practitioner regarding provision of safe general anaesthetics of brachycephalics.

The Australian Veterinary Nurse and Technician (AVNAT) Regulatory Council has allocated 1 AVNAT CPD point to this continuing education activity.

Jen is a specialist anaesthetist who has a keen interest in injectable anaesthesia and pain management in small animal patients.  She is currently the Director of Veterinary Education at the Melbourne Veterinary School.  She has spent her career working in academia, first at Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine and for the last decade at the Melbourne Veterinary School and she is driven by improving the future of the profession one student at a time.  She is a frequent speaker at both national and international conferences.
